'After releasing an all English album, I felt that I wanted to fully connect with my Italian heritage and decided it was time to release an album of all Italian songs,' says Alfio. I recorded these songs with so much joy and pride, and you will hear that in the recordings.' 'tutta Italiana' is a compilation of new recordings of much-loved Italian songs, songs previously released from his Top Ten Warner Music debut album 'Tranquillità' and not available in the USA, as well as a few 'Classic Rewinds' tracks newly recorded in Italian. Covering such favorites as "Mamma," "Chitarra Romana" and "O Surdato 'Nnammurato", Alfio reminds us why this beautiful music stays in our hearts. His hauntingly beautiful versions of "Santa Lucia Luntana" and "Dicitencello Vuie" reminds us that the magic of music can be just as powerful when delivered with vocal and simple instrumental accompaniment. Gaining worldwide recognition as an accomplished musician and songwriter, Alfio has included some of his own much-praised songs like 'Il Nostro Sogno' and "Voce Pura" which he wrote in tribute to Luciano Pavarotti.
