Albany, New York, punk trio After the Fall have emerged with their fifth and best album to date, an earnest and proficiently played strain of technical, speedy melodies that hit that sweet spot between skatepunk and melodic hardcore. Recorded at The Blasting Room (Rise Against, NOFX, Alkaline Trio) in Fort Collins, Colorado, with Dedication the veteran group has penned a riffy and dynamic loveletter to their influences and friends come and gone. After the Fall formed in 2000 and have since molded their sound into a refined, technical showcasing of melodic hardcore and speedy skatepunk on releases across labels like Paper + Plastick, Mightier Than Sword, Shield and more. Their new 10-track offering is dedicated to original bassist and friend Brian J. Peters, who passed away on October 1, 2013.
