Absurd - Dernieres Sommations

Although it may sound strange, Absurd tries to put together two particular conceptions of the typical French song. On one hand, we have a voice and lyrics obviously influenced by ANGE, and on the other hand, we have guitar riffs taken from TRUST's or IRON MAIDEN's melodic hard-rock. What we get eventually is "Pour Un Oui, Pour Un Nom", a delicious mix recorded in 2001 by the singer CHATTE-CHATTE and his four companions. Two years later, the group signed with the Brennus label, and continued it's legacy with the excellent album "Dernières Sommations" (2003). Although the tone is now rougher, the references of the past have remained, marked by the guest appearance of Christian DECAMPS on the title "De La Magie Dans Les Tapis". The band still has his own humour as we can notice with the track entitled "Tout Seul Dans Mon Slip - Tryptyque Amoureux (I. Partie Deux)". There's no need to run away, you won't escape it !!!
