This collection of 12 songs and dances from the Arabic North African countries that border the Mediterranean includes traditional and contemporary selections, both vocal and instrumental. The ensemble is typical for Arabic music: oud (Arabic lute), kanun (zither), nay (flute), violin, derbeke (Arabic drum), and tambourine.
