A Kind of Loving

More out of responsibility than love, Mancunian Vic Brown (Alan Bates) marries girlfriend Ingrid Rothwell (June Ritchie) when he learns she's carrying his child. Living with Ingrid's overbearing mother (Thora Hird) proves to be a struggle for Vic, but the true test of the young couple's relationship comes when the pregnancy takes a devastating turn.
