Review Text
Pastors Stephen and Kim Behrman have grown up in ministry homes and have spent much of their lives developing musically and spiritually with a desire for effective service in the kingdom of God. Stephen began singing and playing as a child both in church and at school, continuing his formal musical education through college, where he acquired a Bachelor of Music degree in classical guitar performance at the University of Denver. He went on to teach, travel with ministries, serve at an African mission, perform with various groups, and serve in the local church. Kim also began singing as a child, gaining experience with recording, and developing a gift of communicating a passion for God with her voice. She attended Rhema Bible Training Center and was a part of their ministry music group, the Rhema Sings and Band. There was a natural union of purpose when they met and began ministering together first as friends and then as husband and wife. Continuing together they served on local worship teams and recorded their first project together. For 10 years they served full time as worship leaders, finding great fulfillment in discovering the ever growing joy of living a life of worship that goes beyond just the music. A growing desire to communicate the possibilities of victory and overcoming power in a life of worship prompted them to move to the community of Cedar Park, TX, just Northwest of Austin and begin preparing for service there. Worship Life, a description of their heart and purpose, became the name of the organization they established. Starting first with weekly meetings in their home, public meetings began at the Holiday Inn Express on the second Sunday in January, 2005. Committed completely to a faithful God who desires to be a part of every moment, there is great hope for all that he holds for those that Worship Life will touch.
