This is Stan's fouth album of self penned songs and without doubt his best yet. You will find a flavour of all of the styles he writes in, from the more serious Military Songs, Folk and Contempoary Ballads, to the Childrens Songs. His songs tell stories, draw you in and keep you listening. As with all his albums the quality is superb from musicians to production. Stan always sets out to provide the listener with a complete experience, this is not a one track album that you listen to once and forget about, it keeps your attention and will be played time and time again. Desribed by 'The Guardian' as a potent mixture of, Tom Paxton, Ralf McTell and Gordon Lightfoot, his vocals are even more rich and mature, his songs more memorable and his future assured as a top quality songwriter.
