Sergeant Rutledge

In the 1880s, African-American cavalry sergeant Braxton Rutledge (Woody Strode) was brought up for court-martial, accused of murdering his CO and raping and killing the man's daughter. Rutledge's onetime troop commander (Jeffrey Hunter) assumes the defense, but will his strong case for his client's innocence matter against a hostile community's preconceptions? John Ford's groundbreaking western co-stars Constance Towers, Juano Hernandez, Billie Burke. 111 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: English DTS HD mono Master Audio; Subtitles: English (SDH).
