Stalled novelist Keane (John Magaro) had no good ideas for the follow-up to his breakout debut, and his dissatisfied wife Suzie (Britt Lower) wasn't shy about wanting out. It was then that he got buttonholed by avid fan Kollmick (Steve Buscemi), who opined that the writer ought to tackle the subject of a serial killer... and gladly offered up a lifetime's experience to draw from.
