Literal, lush adaptation of the Carlo Collodi classic from filmmaker Matteo Garrone ("Tale of Tales") finds it's Geppetto in Roberto Benigni (who played the title role in his own '02 version), opposite Federico Ielapi as the living puppet that the old woodcrafter carved from an enchanted log.
