Directed by Giuseppe Tornatore and featuring a career defining performance by Monica Bellucci, Malèna is a sensual and melancholic coming of age drama set in wartime Sicily. Seen through the eyes of a young boy, the film examines desire, rumor, and societal judgment, enhanced by Ennio Morricone's evocative score.
