Last in Line - Heavy Crown

2016 debut album from the hard rockers. Vinny Appice, Vivian Campbell and the late Jimmy Bain were part of the original Dio band and reunited in 2012. During that jam, it was apparent that the chemistry of the original band was very much intact. The excitement generated by that jam led to a second session, this time with vocalist Andrew Freeman, a guy with the vocal power to complete the original powerhouse sound of the Dio band. This album is highly recommended for fans of Dio and '80s heavy metal who also appreciate the here and now of hard rock.
