Spectacular puppet-filled fantasy about Sarah, a lonely, daydreaming teenage girl (Jennifer Connelly), who, after being aggravated by her younger brother Toby, wishes he be whisked away by the evil Goblin King Jareth (David Bowie), a character in a play she's involved with.
