Anticipating mere days of conscious life remaining due to an AIDS-related illness, Nick Stark (Eric Roberts) chose to throw an all-day party for his family and friends before committing suicide. The bittersweet affair takes a darker turn when the ex-lover (Gregory Harrison) who'd abandoned him turns up uninvited.
