Folk Uke - Folk Uke

Folk Uke is the debut self-titled release from the daughters of two great American songwriters, a collaboration between Cathy Guthrie (daughter of Arlo) and Amy Nelson (daughter of Willie). Nelson and Guthrie combine beautiful harmonies with a traditional folk sound and throw in edgy but humorous lyrics. Matt Leasor from American Songwriter Magazine says, 'Humour is the best part about folk music, the twist of the lyric when it's nearly limerick verse. This is likely to be the best folk record out today, and I'm not folking around'.
