When 8-year-old Aurora (Sophie Sloan) found her parents gone from their New York apartment under violent circumstances, she surmised that the monster living under her bed was responsible. She turned to the one adult she thought could help-a neighbor (Mads Mikkelsen) who just happened to be a hitman-and the initially bemused killer would slowly find that there was no other rational explanation.
