Broadway Melody of 1938

Radiant Eleanor Powell plays a girl with Broadway dreams. On her way to the top, she encounters a racehorse named Stargazer, whose winning ways could help her dream come true, and a dashing Broadway producer/composer (Robert Taylor) who makes it all happen. Also featured are dancers George Murphy & Buddy Ebsen, comedian Willie Howard, and Sophie Tucker. As an unforgettable bonus, young Judy Garland sings (Dear Mr. Gable) You Made Me Love You, her hymn to Clark Gable that created a sensation.
