I Survived: Lonnie / Rulon / Stanley

Lonnie was unaware that her boyfriend Michael was wanted for fraud in Texas. Then she realised that Michael had stolen large amounts of money from her and, that she didn't really know the man she loved. When confronted Michael brutally attacked Lonnie, choking her into unconsciousness and shooting her four times in the head. Amazingly Lonnie survived the shooting but pretended to be dead for an agonising four hours until she could make a 911 call and be rescued almost seven hours after her ordeal had begun. Rulon is a super strong Olympic wrestling champion who set off on a snowmobiling expedition with two friends. He was soon separated from the group, lost and his snowmobile got bogged down in a semi frozen stream. He had to decide to wait for rescue or submerge himself in the freezing water to save his snowmobile and find a way out of the canyon. As night falls Rulon battled severe hypothermia and frostbite to make it until dawn. Stanley is a wise cracking New York federal prosecutor who was kidnapped by a group of machine gun armed men on his birthday. His kidnappers demanded fifty thousand dollars or they threatened to kill Stanley and his father. Stanley decided to humanize himself to his kidnappers, cracking jokes and treating the armed men with total respect in the hope of being released.
