The Neon Tattoo Volume Two takes up where Volume One left off. Our hero finds himself in a high stakes game of pool with a shady character named Doom. Next, he winds up as a recluse in a junkyard, a target for taunting by the 'normal' junkyard workers. His personal funny car, fashioned from spare parts from the junkyard, gets him into a risky drag race against a character named Death. A near death experience in the next chapter leads our hero to help a distressed couple get out of a jam. He eventually rises to stardom with a bizarre act that mixes music and physical transformation. In the end a private detective tracks down The Neon Tattoo and witnesses his final transformation. The Neon Tattoo epic weds the styles of American popular music to the relentless epic story of one man and his attempts to deal with his strange affliction. After listening I know you will agree, there has never been anyone like The Neon Tattoo.
