The Parker Sisters have been fiddling for over a dozen years together. Justine is 19 and Alison is 17 years old.They have learned and studied under the great west Virginia fiddler Bobby Taylor of St. Albans, west Virginia. They have won and placed in many fiddle contests including a blue ribbon at clifftop that Justine won in 2004. There reportire of Old Time music is very extensive. They both play in the band 'Tiger Maple String Band', a very popular string band in northwestern Pa.On this disc, they are accompanied by two of the finest musicians in West Virginia. That being the great david O'dell and Brandon Bentley. Brandon has won numerous guitar contest, including Wayne Henderson's, Vandalia, and Merefest as well as Ohio just to name a few. All were first place wins.You will truley enjoy the playing on this c.d.
