World premier recordings of modern Spanish composer Luis de Pablo's Figura en el mar (1988-1989) concerto for flute and orchestra and Melisma furioso (1990) for solo flute are presented here, featuring Josep Pons conducting the Lorraine Philharmonic Orchestra with Pierre-Yves Artaud (flute). Also included is the world premier recording of de Pablo's Senderos del aire (1987) for large orchestra, with Hiroyuki Iwaki conducting the Tokyo Metropolitan Orchestra.
