Luis Perez Meza, "El Trovador del Campo", one of the most popular singers in 20th Century Mexico, recorded perhaps his finest albums for Anahuac Records. This outstanding singer, composer, actor and enthusiastic proponent of the Banda Sinaloense, performs with one of the great Banda orchestras, "La Costena de Mazatlan de Ramon Lopez Alvarado." This CD includes, in addition to the the popular Melo Diaz title selection, some of Luis Perez Meza's most popular songs such as "El Frijolito," "El Barzon," "Corrido de Juan Carasco" and many more.
