Los Angeles, California's Kay Bee and Osaka, Japan's Kzyboost collide on "We Came 2 Bring You Da Funk." Both deep in the street dance scene, Kay Bee & Kzyboost's collaborative effort delivers a potent dose of funk, inspired by their fellow poppers but accessible to anyone, on the one. Highlights include "Feel Da Funk," with guest artist Dr. Evo (Snoop Dogg's Producer) on synth bass & bass guitar. There's an obvious west coast sensibility to the 7", even though one of it's creators is a whole continent removed, demonstrating the deep influence and mobility of the funk.
