The debut album from guitarist Emmanuel Baily is an exercise in musical lyricism and Baroque expression, with the energy of contemporary jazz. By training, Baily is a classical musician active as an arranger, composer, and performer. At the crossroads of classical and jazz, his debut offers a fascinating and eclectic repertoire, with personal compositions as well as singular arrangements of J.S. Bach, Pat Metheny, and Jimmy Page.
