Review Text
'8 songs, recorded within the heavenly walls of St. Giles-in-the-Fields, a church situated right in the middle of a very busy London. Most of the songs were written during my European tour back in May, on buses, trains and rickety little planes, and in all manner of strange rooms and backstage areas. St. Giles was very much open for worship on the day we recorded. Listen closely, and you can hear the occasional drunkard emerge half-dazed from behind a pew, or the little old lady making her indignation known through her aggressive cane tapping. A creaky door, a nervous chandelier, and the never-say-die traffic outside...listen closely and you can hear them all humming along, like forest fiends.' - DW.
