The 2011 Doctor Who Christmas special, entitled THE DOCTOR, THE WIDOW AND THE WARDROBE, finds the Doctor as a caretaker for a widow and her two children. As always, where the doctor is trouble isn't far behind and that trouble starts when one of the children wanders into a wardrobe that's not as it seems.
