Based on the childrens novel of the same name, Gentle Ben follows the adventures in the Florida Everglades of a game warden, Tom Wedloe (Dennis Weaver), his wife Ellen (Beth Brickell), their son Mark (Clint Howard), and Mark's tame bear Ben.
