Sinfonieorchester Basel - Secret Faure II

As a sequel to The Secret Fauré, the present recording features a number of other orchestral and concert works by the French composer. Most of these performances are based on the new critical edition of Fauré's works published by Bärenreiter Verlag, which presents them in editions grounded in the methodology of modern musicology. This recording therefore allows us to discover the composer anew, especially in the case of the present Allegro from his Symphony in F.
