Eight years have passed since the release of 'Sunlight' in 2011, and this is the fourth work by the duo unit of Oji Hirata and Takeshi Shibuya!A beautiful story woven by rich acoustic instruments and voices, a world of sound that accompanies joy, anger, sorrow and happiness, making a page in your daily life feel special. A masterpiece featuring guest appearance by Koichi Matsukaze, whom the two admire, and a superb solo by Takeshi Shibuya. Eight years have passed since the release of 'Sunlight' in 2011. The long-awaited fourth work by the duo unit 'Luce do Sol', Oji Hirata and Takeshi Shibuya, who have accumulated time, has been completed. *The two have never stopped performing live and touring constantly. The world of the work remains unchanged in a positive sense. It includes three songs by Jobim, whom they admire, numerous Brazilian standards, and 12 songs centered on the two's originals. It is an extension of the musical world they have cultivated without changing. *Based on bossa nova, the beautiful melodies of Brazilian music and the inexpressible nostalgia/A dialogue with saudade, arranged for a simple arrangement of acoustic instruments and voices/A good sense of performing with rich harmony, and a number of original compositions that resonate deeply with these songs, each work shows depth, freshness, and rich nuance. In addition, this time, they also featured songs that are not directly related to bossa, such as 'Christmas Carol' known for Peggy Lee's singing and children's songs such as 'Biwa', but the performance was completely a world of two people. It feels like they have created a world of their own as a unit called 'Luz do Sol'. *In the meantime, this time, guest Matsukaze Koichi participated in four songs. Matsukaze, who has a long history of performing with orchestras, Essential Ellington, and Shibuya Takeshi, and who manipulates multi-reeds, is one of the artists that Hirata Oji respects the most. The participation of Matsukaze, an old friend of the two, who is a craftsman and the word 'master' suits him, gives the album a natural flow and an atmosphere of inevitability, but also brings a sense of relaxation. The presence of a third person also brings a breath of fresh air to the two, who have been working side by side on the three previous albums. *On the other hand, one piano solo by Shibuya Takeshi is also included. Shibuya's piano, which is casual but 'simply beautiful...', has a wide range of fans, but this solo track has one of the best worlds in his long history of performances/recordings. The song is 'Beatrice' by Edu Lobo/Chico Buarque. It was decided that this song would be performed after Hirata Oji suggested that 'it would be wonderful if Shibuya played it.' It has now been added to Shibuya's solo live repertoire, and his natural and emotional performance is in the middle of the work, inviting the listener into a special world. *Each song is a collection of 12 pieces that touch on the subtleties of joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness, and that warmly embrace the beauty of the music. The story unfolds from a world of gentle sound that makes a page in your daily life feel casually special. Songlist 1. Rain on the Roses: Antonio Carlos Jobim 2. Sen Farar: Prince Hirata 3.
