A blissful acoustic sound with roots in Brazilian music. This is the first recording of the trio that Oji Hirata has been working on together with his duo with Tsuyoshi Shibuya. 10 pieces that resonate with saudade and Japanese sensibility! *The latest work by Oji Hirata, who has carved out his own musical world with a focus on Brazilian music and has gained support from enthusiastic music fans. *Since releasing 'Luz do Sol' in 2011, he has produced a total of three works as a duo unit with Tsuyoshi Shibuya, 'Luz do Sol'. To this day, he has been performing regularly, including on tours, and deepening his musical knowledge. Along with the duo, Oji Hirata has also performed live from time to time with this unit, consisting of Junichiro Oguchi and Yuji Miyano. This work was recorded about four years after they gathered and performed at 'Sou' in Kunitachi. *The songs included are 10 songs that have been performed by these members. *The album includes four Brazilian songs, such as the opening, by Joao Donato and Luis Esa, which Hirata Oji loves to listen to and play, and one Hawaiian song, which is another musical key to Hirata Oji. The saudade feeling of bossa, which is a mixture of joy and sadness, and the deep, mysterious Hawaiian music, which is drawn by looking at the inherent beauty of the music, are excellent even for this unit. Overall, the performance is a conversational one, with a relaxed rhythm and a limited number of notes... The performance of the three drumless acoustic instruments is full of warmth, not only in the beautiful melody, but also in the harmony, tone, and even in every breath. *Alongside these songs, the five original songs are also attractive. Although each song has a certain charm that makes it seem like a standard, the poems that weave together the emotions of joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness that come from the artist's delicate sensibility, the casual but special everyday life, and the joys, anger, sorrows, and happiness of living* and the songs that express the world of those poems take various musical forms, but are unique in that they exude a delicate sensibility as a Japanese person. In addition, some of the songs, such as 'Night Flight,' first recorded in 2000, and 'Reasons for Music,' recorded in 2008, have been performed for a long time and recorded with new arrangements, giving them a depth that has been accumulated over time. *The rhythm of the strings, the gentle and delicate intertwining of the piano, the soft sound of the woodwinds, and the voices... This is an exquisite acoustic sound that combines the positive everyday feeling of the usual band of musicians with Hirata Oji's sincere gaze on music as an artist! This is a work that we would like to hear not only from Luz do Sol fans, but also from those who enjoy the quiet mystery of music.
