Balu Brigada are a self-described "groove-pop" duo composed of multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter/producer brothers from New Zealand, Henry and Pierre Beasley. Balu Brigada are all about experimentation, inspired by genre-mashing musical giants Gorillaz and Frank Ocean. Embodied by the overarching metaphor of a night out, Balu Brigada's new EP I Should Be Home details the blurry experiences of growing into your own skin as a twenty-something year old. Revisiting messy break-ups and drunken epiphanies, I Should Be Home recalls the sugar rush of the start of the party, and the sobering realization that the fun has worn off, and it's time to call it a night.
