I never dreamed that I would be able to listen to an unreleased Tribe album in the 2020s. A phantom work, including 'Farewell To The Welfare, ' released on 7-inch in 1975, was discovered in the form of an album. Not only the title track, which is the epitome of Tribe funk (the mix is different from the 7-inch!), but also Harrison's representative compositions 'Where Am I' and 'Tons And Tons Of BS, ' which were later re-recorded, come into sharp focus in the album conception. This is the greatest discovery in the history of independent black jazz.
