Originally known as The Gaytunes, The Verdicts were a vocal group who hailed from the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn. They released the single “My Life's Desire” b/w “The Mummy's Ball” in 1961 on Al Browne’s East Coast label based in New York City. Presented here is the original 45 RPM issue, newly remastered.
