Rube Bloom and Arthur Schutt - Novelty Ragtime Piano Kings

The two composer-pianists featured on this album, Rube Bloom and Arthur Schutt, were both consummate performers and outstanding composers, despite their very different backgrounds and experiences. Bloom composed sophisticated popular songs despite his musical illiteracy, while Schutt became a noted arranger for dance and jazz bands.
