Houston Cisco - Cowboy Ballads

Cisco Houston's first solo album on Folkways Records represents a small portion of the artist's repertoire of American folk music. Extensive liner notes (complete with a glossary of cowboy slang such as "dogie: A calf that lost it's mammy and whose daddy has run off with another cow") accompany this collection of tunes of the lonely cowboy and his guitar.
