The Carter Brothers - Road to Roosky

Tim and Danny Carter are scions of the one and only Carter Family-but this 2011 album is as raucous as it is reverential. Their flair for pushing the envelope has earned them a fan base stretching all across the roots-music spectrum; bluegrass, blues, rock, folk and country swirl together across Jerusalem Moan (recorded with Vassar Clements a few months before Vassar died in 2005), Woman at the Well, She's a Hurricane, What Does the Deep Sea Say, the title song and more! Compass.
