Suspect

After a judge apparently commits suicide and his secretary is found murdered, a deaf-mute homeless man (Liam Neeson) is arrested for the crime and put on trial. When a public defender (Cher) and juror (Dennis Quaid) assigned to the case are drawn together, they suspect that the accused man is innocent-uncovering a shocking trail of corruption, lies, and danger along the way.
