Mobbed-up Montreal developer Vincent Padovani (Jean Lajeunesse) was looking forward to a celebration of his completed highway project at his luxurious abode, attended by the local political gentry he'd greased. However, between angry protesters displaced by the construction and the unexpected arrival of ex Réjeanne (Luce Guilbeault) demanding to see their kids, his flunkies' ham-handed responses will make for a long night, in this early effort from Denys Arcand. 94 min.
