The Everett brothers are determined to build a future on their Kansas ranch, but ruthless land baron Deke Turner (George Kennedy) has other plans. After one of the brothers kills a man in self-defense and is framed for murder by Turner's corrupt allies, the family is driven from their home when their ranch is burned to the ground.
