The Surfer

An America-raised entrepreneur (Nicolas Cage) returned to the Australian beach town of his youth, looking to buy his childhood home-and, firstly, to take his teenage son (Finn Little) surfing where he had used to. Their rebuff at the shore from a gang of local toughs slowly escalates into an emasculating effort by all sectors of the community to send him packing-and, ultimately, pressuring him to snap.
