Ferdinando and Carolina

On his deathbed in the late 18th century, aged Neapolitan monarch Ferdinando I (Mario Scaccia) looks back on his libertine early days, and particularly on Mary Caroline (Gabriella Pession), the fiery Hapsburg princess who wed him in a politically arranged marriage that, against all odds, turned into love.
