Baseball's Seasons: 1969

The Miracle Mets go from perennial cellar-dwellers to top of the National League. Major League Baseball adds teams to Seattle, Kansas City, San Diego, and Montreal, the first Canadian baseball team. They also realign into East and West, and the League Championship Series is born. The Mets meet the Orioles in the World Series.
