To the pretty tenants of his "women only" Rhode Island apartment house, landlord Karl Gunther (Klaus Kinski) seems like a perfect gentleman. What the ladies don't know is that Gunther is the son of a concentration camp doctor, as well as a demented, self-harming psychopath who spies on them within the building's crawlspaces and has built special torture chambers to prey on them.
