Scanners II: The New Order / Scanners III: The Takeover

Scanners II (1991): A veterinary student has no idea he's a scanner - one who can read minds and control the actions of others - until he discovers his unique abilities while foiling a holdup. A police commander introduces him to a scientist who works with other scanners and he is soon snagged in a web of death and deception that threatens everyone he loves. Scanners III (1991): A young female scanner turns from a sweet young thing into a murderous, power-crazed villain.
