Suicide Prevention Bill

The House considered 14 suspension bills, mainly concerning suicide prevention efforts and community mental health services. Troy Carter (D-LA) was sworn in to fill the seat formerly filled by Cedric Richmond, who resigned in January to serve as senior adviser and director of the White House Public Engagement Office.
