Ponds has five tracks; two of the songs are re-recorded, and the remaining three are new, helping to define the band, said Ethan Wade, guitarist and vocalist for the band. "It's a collection of every kind of music," Wade said. "The CD is five tracks of what we think is the best. It really captures what we think [are] our essential songs." Wade said Ponds is the first CD Brothers Gow has recorded in a studio.
