This is a fine example of the kind of quality music that will never reach the top of the pops, but deserves to be heard well beyond the player's hometown. Brendle and Kimbrough display remarkable powers of musical communication between themselves on this ballad heavy set, and radiate that personal communication to the listener with compelling artistry and intimacy.
