WhiteShoeBrownShoe 2006-Present WhiteShoeBrownShoe is the collaboration of Patrik Gochez and Alex Britten, two young songwriters brought together by rock, roll, and a bowl of chilli. Pat was forged in the kiln of New England, moving from state to state, while Alex was crafted from equal parts London and Los Angeles. Together, the Shoes form the balance you need to walk on two feet in this modern world. In the midst of a spicy tune crankin session, the two realized if they wanted to grab the people by the short and curlies they'd need a hurricane rhythm section. Just at that moment there was a knock at the door, and what appeared to be a pirate from the heart of America walked in, sat down and kicked a beat so sweet it rocked the Shoes to their feet. He said his name was Nez, and was more than happy to join the Shoe family, but he needed an avalanche bass player with the grace of a fox to run the groove train with him. Luckily, it just so happened that dynamite Dave Lee lived just around the corner, and all he wanted was to put on the family shoes. Once this union came to pass, the Shoes quickly began building a reputation around the Boston area with explosive shows and an electric demo. They are currently writing on the golden coast of California in an abandoned mansion, with the sun in their eyes and the sand on their feet. Keep your eyes peeled, your ears pricked and your mind open, this is one experience not to miss.
