The Wheatland Chorale was founded in 1987 by director Robert J. Upton, and is widely recognized for artistic excellence and heartfelt performance. Critically acclaimed as 'Choral music at it's finest,' the group has appeared throughout central and southeastern Pennsylvania as well as St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York, the Washington National Cathedral and the White House. In 2008, the ensemble toured central Europe and is planning an eastern European tour in 2011. The Chorale has also been featured on NPR's 'The Music Box' and 'The First Art.'
