SHAZAAM! The Walk of Fame, based out of Southern New Jersey, is nothing short of amusing. This 'bio' could tell you how the band was started, the history of it's band members, and all that jazz, but that's just not this bands style. On stage, they put on shows that draws laughter and enjoyment from any audience. For example, some people go to shows to listen. Some to go to shows to dance. Then, there are those who go to shows to criticize. Strangely enough, The Walk of Fame uses the attitudes of these viewers and feeds off of them. If they can get a crowd chant, a hand clap, or just a simple smile from one of those people, the band has accomplished it's mission. The greatest attribute to this band is it's ability to have an audience relate to them. Their performances aren't complicated. There is plenty of crowd interaction. There is a lot of smiling. Who knows, maybe a band member had a little too much to drink before the set. They show a side that is rarely shown by musicians. They have the ability to not take everything so seriously, and they let the crowd know that they are there to have fun, not that they are there to be the best band on the planet. Their new EP 'Betcha Can't Dance To This' is the band's first ever release. They are very proud of it. The Walk of Fame always keeps the idea of 'we are friends before a band'. The practice of that motto keeps them bound in way that can't be broken. This band is constantly on a roller coaster ride. Nonetheless, it has it's goal in sight. Like any successful entity, this band knows that the road to reaching it is the most important part.
